I need everyone to start thinking hard over the next few days regarding the following items

1. next session FEB 18 IN HALIFAX time and location to be confirmed
2. CARDIFF MARCH 18 time and location to be confirmed
3. April/May will be a friendly against Austria down South
4. June will be organised by Dave Os

We would very strongly suggest that we travel at most in two groups London and Manchester say on Thursday 6th or Friday 7th September. SO LET ME KNOW ASAP as I would like to get on with this ASAP.

We need to do this ASAP so that we can contact travel agents for discounts. It’s likely we travel to Brisbane to get better deals and take group transport from there and save a lot of money that way.

Full price of tickets was around £850 when last I looked and I understand from Dave we can get them for less via Thomas Cook and that British Airways could give us a discount also (Richard Norris)

As a minimum we would expect you to be there from Sun 9th Sept 2007 till the closing ceremony Sat 15 Sept 2007

We need to get on to this ASAP.

Thanks again Martin Lee who has beaten me this time in getting a sponsor for around £500.
Of course without doubt office holders will have to take lead but this has to be an effort that we all have to initiate and energise, as we are all the beneficiaries.

Dave L suggested a charity dinner. In the past we got some from Drug Companies and even MacDonald’s did offer but we declined their support previously.
