The Radisson Hotel (Gold Coast) is 180 Australian Dollars per night.
For two people sharing this is 36 pounds per person per night.
It is envisaged that all players will arrive on or before Saturday 8th and will leave on Sunday 16th necessitating at least eight nights of accommodation – 288 pounds.
As happened last year we as players will need to pay for our coach’s expenses. Dave’s contribution last year was invaluable and his presence allows players to concentrate on playing rather than trying to make on the field decisions. I have estimated costs for accommodation, flights and a small amount of spending money at 1,300 pounds.
Last year we traveled with two different personalized strips which were kept afterwards. The estimated cost is 50 pounds per player.
Other items such as ties, t-shirts, track suits, water bottles, footballs, medical supplies (not acquired or stolen) and pennants (proved very successful last year) added to the cost.
Finally it makes sense to have some extra money as a slush fund for unforeseen circumstances and expenses (not a drinking fund). Last year we needed to come back on two occasions to players for more money and I hope that the amount requested this year will be final. Obviously any sponsorship obtained will decrease costs. At the end of the tournament any money remaining will be redistributed to players.

- All figures are based on 18 players traveling. Variation in this number will change prices.
- Sponsorship can be used against some expenses so if you feel that you can obtain any sponsorship please do so in co-ordination with Arif.
- The team has a healthy financial balance at present but some members still need to pay a membership fee. Some of the present money will also be used towards the trip but obviously a balance will have to remain for future years.
